I’ve been [in]patiently waiting for the Samsung Galaxy S Fascinate to receive the Froyo 2.2 update.  Now there is word that Gingerbread 2.3 will be coming to the Galaxy S family next month.  I can only hope that Verizon / Google pushes the 2.3 update in the US. In the meantime, I still haven’t received the Froyo update. 

According to Verizon, the update is out for some phone ESNs and is pushed out in groups.  They indicated it could be another 4 weeks before I see the update.  Makes me consider waiting for Gingerbread instead… or perhaps find myself a nice rooted rom.
