I’ve personally been following the Augmented Reality (AR) revolution since first discovering Layar for mobile devices. Since then I have considered the great possibilities that AR technology may achieve. After watching Sony’s SmartAR debut on engadget in this video there is no doubt that we will live to see a day where technology enhances the way we view our environment. I can’t help but think of the Cylon’s ability to view their barren surroundings as anything they wish; flowery meadows, tropical beach, or a bedroom. Much like Bill Gates’ smart walls / environments.
